Our Story

Clay’s path to tree care is rooted in both hard work and creativity. Growing up on a farm in southern Missouri, he spent his early years surrounded by chainsaws, tractors, and all the grit that comes with working the land. After heading to Southern Methodist University, he pursued his passion for storytelling and earned a degree in film, which led him to Los Angeles to work at Creative Artists Agency.

 

Life eventually brought him back to the Midwest, where he spent over a decade managing a Kansas City law firm. But his hands-on upbringing and love for the outdoors never left him. In time, he decided to return to those roots and build something of his own — founding a tree care service that combines practical experience, a sharp eye for detail, and a genuine commitment to helping people care for their properties.

 

Of course, no business runs on chainsaws alone. Clay’s wife, Laura, runs just about everything else — from scheduling and marketing to making sure the details don’t slip through the cracks. She leaves the cutting to Clay, but her organization and vision keep the business grounded and growing. Together, they’re a team built on trust, hard work, and a shared passion for serving their community.
